Over 170 million euros in funding for pupils and students

The Ministry of Investments and European Projects will open, on August 18, four calls for projects with a cumulative value of 171.34 million euros, within the Education and Employment Program.

Of these, two calls will fund internships for students, and the other two - internships for students.

Two calls for projects will finance internships for students, aiming to increase the participation rate of students enrolled in vocational and technical education, including dual, in practical learning and training programs.

One call, with a budget of approximately 92 million euros, of which 78.19 million euros are European funds, is addressed to the less developed regions: North-East, South-East, South-Muntenia, South-West Oltenia, North-West, West and Center. Another call, with a budget of 10.37 million euros, will finance projects for the more developed Bucharest-Ilfov region.

Two other calls will fund internships for students, with the aim of increasing their participation in work-based learning programs (internships, work placements, etc.) and facilitating their employment.

The call addressed to less developed regions has a budget of approximately 62 million euros, and the one dedicated to the Bucharest-Ilfov region has an allocation of almost 7 million euros.
