MIPE extended the project submission session within the Just Transition Program

The Ministry of Investments and European Projects has decided to extend the project submission session under the Just Transition Program.

Under the Just Transition Program, microenterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can obtain grants of 200,000-8 million euros each.

The project submission period has been extended until 20.04.2024.

The indicative allocation dedicated to the calls for projects related to Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galați, Prahova and Mureș and ADTI Valea Jiului is approximately 775 million euros.

The value of non-reimbursable financing that can be granted for a project in the form of regional state aid/de minimis aid is a minimum of 200,000 euros and a maximum of 8,000,000 euros (the cumulative value of the two types of aid).

Applicants wishing to submit projects under these calls must meet the following conditions:

– be companies established under Law No. 31/1990 on companies, as amended and supplemented, or under Law No. 1/2005 on the organization and functioning of cooperatives, as amended and supplemented, and in accordance with the provisions of the applicable aid measures scheme.

– to fall into the category of small or medium-sized enterprises, within the meaning of the provisions of art. 4, paragraph (1) of Law no. 346/2004 on stimulating the creation and development of SMEs, as subsequently amended and supplemented, as well as with the provisions of Annex I Definition of SMEs to Regulation (EU) no. 651/2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty, as subsequently amended and supplemented, both on the date of the request for financing and on the date of granting the financing.
