Gross budget revenues 11.91% higher in the first 10 months of 2023

Gross budget revenues collected amounted to 346.48 billion lei, which represents an increase of 11.91% (nominal index), respectively 36.84 billion lei more than in the first ten months of 2022 (309.64 billion lei).

Net budget revenues collected amounted to 322.36 billion lei, which represents an increase of 9.00% - nominal index, in absolute amounts 25.94 billion lei more than the corresponding period in 2022 (296.42 billion lei), according to a press release from ANAF.

Gross budget revenues

  • collected in the period June/October 2023 were 12.59% higher than those obtained in the similar period of 2022 (respectively 186.80 billion lei compared to 165.91 billion lei in the period June/October 2022, an increase of 20.89 billion lei).
  • collected in the period January/May 2023 were 11.10% higher than those obtained in the similar period of 2022 (respectively 159.68 billion lei compared to 143.73 billion lei in the period January/May 2022, an increase of 15.95 billion lei).

There is a 31% increase in the additional gross revenues collected, respectively by approx. 5 billion lei (the difference between 20.89 billion lei and 15.95 billion lei additional collection in equal periods of time).

Net budget revenues

  • collected in the period June/October 2023 were higher by 10.06% than those obtained in the similar period of 2022 (respectively 173.69 billion lei compared to 157.82 billion lei in the period June/October 2022, an increase of 15.88 billion lei),
  • collected in the period January/May 2023 were higher by 7.26% than those obtained in the similar period of 2022 (respectively 148.67 billion lei compared to 138.60 billion lei in the period January/May 2022, an increase of 10.07 billion lei).

In the collection of net budget revenues, a significant increase is noted, namely by 57.70 % of the additional revenues (15.88 billion lei compared to 10.07 billion lei of additional collection in the analyzed periods).
