The number of companies deregistered increased by almost 101% in the first eight months of the year

The National Trade Register Office (ONRC) reports that the number of companies deregistered nationwide increased by 9,62% in the first eight months of 2022, compared to the same period last year.

46.304 companies were deregistered between January and August 2022.

The most deregistrations were recorded in Bucharest – 7,457 (plus 9,28% compared to January-August 2021) and in the counties of Cluj – 2,133 (plus 15,97%), Constanţa – 2,068 (plus 13,25%) and Timiş – 2,066 (plus 1,62%), it announces. Agerpres.

At the opposite pole, the fewest Cancellations were recorded in the counties of Călăraşi – 378 (increasing by 2,44% compared to the first eight months of last year), Covasna – 387 (plus 8,10%) and Ialomiţa – 392 (plus 18,43%).

The largest number of Cancellations was recorded in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 12,531 (plus 8.24% compared to January-August 2021), construction – 4,202 (plus 7.03%), professional, scientific and technical activities – 3,857 (plus 8.65%) and manufacturing industry 3,752 (plus 10.81%).
