The National Council of SMEs in Romania requests the Government to resume consultations on establishing the minimum wage

The National Council of SMEs in Romania requests the Government to resume consultations on establishing the guaranteed minimum wage.

On Tuesday, the National Council of SMEs in Romania sent an address requesting the Prime Minister of Romania, Nicolae Ionel Ciucă, the Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity, Marius Constantin Budăi, and the Minister of Finance, Adrian Câciu, to resume consultations on establishing the guaranteed minimum wage for 2023.

CNIPMMR believes that, up to this point, the negotiations for the establishment of the guaranteed minimum wage in payment have not been finalized and calls on all social partners to resume them.

Thus, as previously stated, CNIPMMR requests minimum wage increase at the amount of 3,000 lei gross per month, with the deduction of 200 lei and the possibility of an additional increase of another 250 lei non-taxable, above the 3,000 lei, voluntarily, for employers who wish to offer this amount.
