Grant instrument of up to 100,000 euros per company to support SMEs in adopting digital technologies

The Ministry of Investments and European Projects launched, on Tuesday, a de minimis scheme and a State aid scheme in the context of the digitalization of SMEs for public debate.

Romanian microenterprises and small and medium-sized companies will be able to obtain gRANTS from 20,000 to 100,000 euros to digitize their activity.

The public consultation period is at least 30 calendar days, starting on 04.10.2022.

  • Activities supported within the investment/operation:
  1. ICT hardware purchases;
  2. purchases of automation and robotics equipment for technological flows, integrated with digital solutions;
  3. development and/or adaptation of software applications/licenses, including RPA software automation solutions, respectively Robotic Process Automation;
  4. blockchain technology acquisitions;
  5. acquisitions of artificial intelligence systems, machine learning, augmented reality, virtual reality;
  6. purchase of presentation website;
  7. the acquisition of cloud and IoT services;
  8. training of staff who will use ICT equipment;
  9. consultancy/analysis to identify the technical solutions they need SMES And so on
  • Eligible beneficiary: enterprises, companies regulated by Companies Law no. 31/1990, republished, with subsequent amendments and supplements, which fall into the SME category and have their registered office in Romania.
  • Call budget: The allocation for this call – corresponding to the open section – is 347.5 million euros, the equivalent in lei = 1,690.83 million lei, according to the inforeuro exchange rate in September 2022.
