A new financing program for SMEs

SMEs will be able to ensure that employees participate online in training courses on emerging technologies through a financing program.

The program will be managed by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization (MCID), but is not yet functional because the online platform is not fully developed.

Conformable avocatnet.ro, internet of things, big data, cloud technologies, machine learning, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, blockchain, cyber-physical systems and additive manufacturing are the emerging technologies that can be covered with the help of funding program.

"The main objective is to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), by providing non-refundable funds to improve skills among employees, with applicability in emerging technologies, according to Order MCID 20.953/2022, which appeared in the Official Gazette on Tuesday evening.

The state will award a grant of a maximum of 17,000 euros for each applicant accepted into the program.

However, the money will not go to the companies, but directly to the trainers accepted into the program, after completing and completing the courses.

Applicants will be able to access the program if they do not have financial problems (large debts to the state, insolvency, bankruptcy etc.).
