SMEs will be able to request money from the state to make investments to reduce energy costs

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including microenterprises, as well as large enterprises, will be able to request up to 500,000 euros to make investments that will help them make their businesses more energy efficient.

The ordinance, made official on Monday evening, will be implemented by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE), it announces. avocatnet.ro.

Thermal rehabilitation of buildings, installing sockets for electric cars or even changing light bulbs are some of the investments that can be financed by the state.

Among the conditions that must be checked by BUSINESS Applicants for the grants include:

  • have been established by December 31, 2021;
  • to have had at least one employee on December 31, 2021;
  • to present documents proving the status of owner/superficiary/administrator/holder of a right of use/concessionaire/tenant for the building in which the project is implemented.
